Instead, the gang immediately decides Amy's primary objective is finding herself a boyfriend, transforming a deadly scientific crisis into the world's most inappropriate dating simulator. Every meaningful glance becomes romantic intrigue. Every handsome scientist becomes a candidate. Every serious decision is evaluated according to criteria that would make an HR department burst into flames. Meanwhile, The Complex continues the grand tradition of interactive movies insisting they're video games, giving Rick, Flux, and Topsy plenty of opportunities to roast its limited gameplay, dramatic performances, and increasingly questionable choices. Then Rick makes the catastrophic mistake of Googling "hunky dudes" for a Cogger. What appeared on the stream has been mercifully removed from this edit. The aftermath has not. It's science! Despite the follicular distraction, At Dead of Night proves remarkably effective at building tension, with Jimmy's unpredictable appearances turning simple trips through the hotel into nerve-racking games of cat and mouse. The trio explores the hotel, communicates with its spirits, and completes Amy's story while laughing their way through one of modern FMV horror's most unique games.
