Captain Novolin is a 1992 educational platformer released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Developed in partnership with diabetes advocacy groups, the game stars superhero Captain Novolin as he battles unhealthy food-themed enemies while teaching players about diabetes management. The title has since become infamous for its unusual premise, bizarre enemy designs, and surreal gameplay.
