It’s Christmas Eve 2020 and while the world was falling apart, Rick did what any emotionally stable human would do: boot up a cursed spin-off of a beloved survival horror franchise and stream the entire thing live.
With no robot co-hosts and Juno heartbreakingly absent as well, it’s just Rick vs. the most forgotten, most awkward, and most gun-wiggly Resident Evil title ever made—Resident Evil Survivor.
This impromptu stream quickly turns into a surreal, low-poly fever dream of janky FMVs, weird British voice acting, and dialogue that feels like it was translated by a haunted Sega Dreamcast. But somehow, it’s exactly what 2020 deserved. Rick powers through the whole game—cracking jokes, losing his mind a little, and offering up one of the most raw, off-the-cuff Robot Co-Op experiences ever recorded.
It’s lonely. It’s weird. It’s Resident Evil Survivor. And against all odds? It’s kind of magical.
GAME BIO:
Resident Evil Survivor is a 2000 first-person light gun-style shooter set in the Resident Evil universe, developed by Tose and published by Capcom. It features clunky movement, B-movie dialogue, and a protagonist with amnesia (of course). While technically part of the RE timeline, it’s mostly remembered for its jank and oddly endearing voice work—perfect for a late-night descent into low-poly madness.
