"SOME PEOPLE HAVE
CLEAVAGE
RULES, WHICH I RESPECT."
Rick and Cylon take on NightCry, the spiritual successor to Clock Tower that delivers plenty of survival horror awkwardness but not much else. Playing as a perpetually slow-moving protagonist in a dress, the game’s clunky mechanics and frustrating design choices quickly take center stage.
The stream, aptly titled "Trotting with Scissors" captures the unintentional comedy of trotting away from danger at a snail’s pace. Rick tries to power through the game’s sluggish pace, navigating its bizarre story and obtuse puzzles, while Cylon delivers sharp commentary on every awkward animation and illogical decision. From the absurd Scissor-walker antagonist to the protagonist’s refusal to run like her life depends on it, the duo finds plenty to riff on as they stumble through the game’s disjointed horror.
While NightCry may not deliver on the legacy of Clock Tower, it’s a goldmine for laughs and head-scratching moments. Whether you’re here for the survival horror vibes or just to see Rick and Cylon try to make sense of it all, this stream is as entertaining as it is baffling. GAME BIO:
