Rick and Johnny Cylon take a cautious step into the lo-fi nightmare of the FAITH universe, checking out the FAITH II and FAITH III demos with equal parts curiosity and dread. At first glance, it looks simple.
Blocky sprites. Minimal animation. Atari-era restraint. Then the audio kicks in. The imagery lingers. The vibes turn hostile.
Rick and Cylon poke around carefully, reacting to the oppressive sound design, religious horror imagery, and the unsettling realization that the game is doing far more with far less.
Every screen feels intentional. Every pause feels loaded. There’s no big bit. No loud riff spiral. Just growing discomfort… and respect.
Sometimes a demo doesn’t need to explain itself. Sometimes it just needs to stare back.

The FAITH series is a retro-inspired indie horror franchise created by Airdorf, blending minimal visuals with intense sound design and religious psychological horror. FAITH II and FAITH III expand on the series’ themes of possession, faith, and dread, using deliberate pacing and unsettling presentation to create fear without spectacle.
