GAME BIO: Dead Space is a 2008 survival horror game developed by EA Redwood Shores (now Visceral Games) for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. Players take on the role of engineer Isaac Clarke as he investigates the derelict mining ship USG Ishimura, overrun by grotesque alien creatures known as Necromorphs. The game emphasizes strategic dismemberment, forcing players to sever enemy limbs rather than rely on traditional headshots.
