"EVERYTHING'S COVERED WITH
PLANTS AND MY
EYELIDS HAVE FALLEN OFF."
After a day of nonstop gaming, Rick and Cylon wrap up their marathon with Carrier, the surprisingly atmospheric survival horror title for the Sega Dreamcast. With a plot that involves a deadly virus breaking out on a mysterious ship, the duo faces creepy enemies, bizarre twists, and clunky controls. It's a brief, weird trip into a game that's part Resident Evil, part what the heck is going on here?
From funky mechanics to unnerving visuals, they wrap up their marathon in style, though their confusion about this cult classic might just last longer than the stream itself. Tune in for a late-night exploration of the Dreamcast's weird side, complete with plenty of snark and laughs!
GAME BIO: Carrier (キャリアー, Kyariā) is a survival horror video game for the Dreamcast, notable in part for being fully 3D - then still a rarity for survival horror games, which mostly displayed 3D characters over pre-rendered backgrounds. In Carrier, players assume the separate roles of an investigation team that was split up from a surprise attack.
