"EXCUSE ME,
WHERE DO THE
PUNCHES GO?" JOIN THE MEMBERS-ONLY MEMORY CORE TO WATCH
Rick, Pickles, and Cylon attempt the unthinkable—playing Alone in the Dark 2—and what unfolds is a glorious, unrelenting disaster. From the jump, the trio is gunned down repeatedly by machine gun-wielding thugs who apparently graduated from the Raccoon City SWAT Academy of Overkill. Meanwhile, the controls are so cursed they make Resident Evil (1996) feel like Resident Evil 4 Remake.
The gang can’t even make it out of the first area, dying over and over as they struggle to aim, move, or just function in the sheer jank soup that is this so-called horror game. This stream isn’t a playthrough—it’s a survival exercise in patience, bad design, and deeply confused French game dev energy. It’s pure, broken gold.
GAME BIO:
Alone in the Dark 2 (1993) is the sequel to the pioneering survival horror game developed by Infogrames. Swapping gothic haunted houses for mobsters and tommy guns, it features stiff tank controls, brutal combat, and an absolutely unhinged difficulty curve. Intended to build on the original’s legacy, it instead delivers an experience so janky and punishing, it’s practically unplayable without divine intervention—or a laugh track.
