Rick, Flux, and Cylon dive into Yakuza: Like a Dragon, eager to experience the series' signature blend of over-the-top action and quirky humor. What starts off as a promising introduction to Ichiban Kasuga's story quickly devolves into an endless marathon of chatty cutscenes and crime drama, leaving the crew longing for more gameplay and fewer monologues.
Rick valiantly tries to stay engaged with the dialogue-heavy narrative, while Flux can’t help but mock the excessive exposition and melodramatic plot twists. Meanwhile, Cylon delivers biting commentary about the lack of action, asking, “Is this a game or a very poorly edited movie?”
Though the gameplay moments are few and far between, the gang makes the best of it with their trademark humor and relentless roasting of every awkward pause and drawn-out explanation. Whether you’re a fan of Yakuza or just love watching the crew riff on games that overstay their welcome, this stream is a laugh-filled exploration of how much talking is too much talking.
