The Rise & Fall of Sonic the Hedgehog continues as Rick, Flux, and Cylon blast through Sonic the Hedgehog 2! The gang has a deep love for the classic 2D Sonic era, but as they soon realize, nostalgia is a liar. While Sonic 2 starts off as the peak of 16-bit platforming bliss, it quickly turns into a relentless gauntlet of pain. From the dreaded Metropolis Zone and its infinite conveyor belt of suffering to the nightmare of Wing Fortress and the final boss rush with ZERO RINGS, the game is out for blood.
Despite the challenge, the guys push through with plenty of laughs, roasts, and admiration for what is still one of the greatest platformers ever made. Will they conquer Sonic 2, or will Robotnik finally break them?

Introducing Miles "Tails" Prower as Sonic’s sidekick, Sonic 2 expanded on the original with faster gameplay, larger levels, the iconic spin dash, and the dreaded Death Egg. It remains one of the most celebrated games in the franchise—and one of the most punishing by the end.
