"WE SHOOT THE ENEMIES TO
STUN THEM, THEN DASH
THROUGH THEM TO
ABSORB THEIR
BULLSH!T"

Rick and Cylon take on Mighty No. 9, the infamous spiritual successor to Mega Man that somehow managed to disappoint just about everyone. What should have been an electrifying Wednesday night quickly turns into an exercise in frustration as the duo wades through bland level design, uninspired mechanics, and the kind of voice acting that makes even the robots cringe.

Rick does his best to push through the game’s clunky controls and questionable difficulty spikes while Cylon delivers cutting commentary on the game’s wasted potential and awkward attempt to capture Mega Man’s legacy. The infamous explosion effects—dubbed “pizza explosions” by the internet—provide plenty of material for roasting, and the team’s growing disbelief at the game’s mediocrity keeps the laughs coming.

While the game itself might not shine, Rick and Cylon’s relentless humor and shared disappointment make this stream a hilarious takedown of one of gaming’s biggest letdowns. If you’re looking for a stream that combines sharp wit with unapologetic honesty, this is the one to watch.
