Demon's Crest

"PREVIOUSLY, ON ALL MY HELLSPAWN..."

Herrpy Herroween ev’rberdy!

The Playing With Myself Halloween Hootenanny begins as Rikk and his clone emerge from the shadows—dressed like they just robbed a Spirit Halloween dumpster. Rikk dons some questionable scrap metal as Metal Man, while the clone appears as Solid Snake, minus the budget, context, or sneaking ability.

Their target: the criminally overlooked 1994 gothic gem Demon’s Crest. Ghouls, flames, flying skulls, and mode-7 madness ensue as the duo riff their way through Capcom’s most metal Super Nintendo fever dream.

But the real treat comes at the end… when Rikk finally bestows his clone with an official name: ROKK. That’s right—Rokk with two K’s, like a mid-tier 2000s nu-metal band and a lawsuit waiting to happen.

It’s spooky. It’s stupid. It’s Playing With Myself. GAME BIO: Demon’s Crest (1994) is a haunting action-platformer from Capcom’s Gargoyle’s Quest lineage. Players control Firebrand, a demonic antihero clawing his way through eerie worlds, unlocking powers, and confronting grotesque bosses. Gorgeous sprite work, branching paths, and monster mayhem abound.
